WELCOME!

PLEASE NOTE MY NEW OFFICE PHONE NUMBER ON THE CONTACT PAGE!

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in children and adolescents (though I also take adult patients and couples as well). Working with children means, more often than not, working with families.

I have education, training and experience in a variety of psychotherapies and am available for psychological assessment of children and adults.

I have a very pragmatic approach to my patients' treatment. There are, generally speaking, four phases to psychotherapy:

  • Assessment – (2 - 4 sessions) Taking a full history of the presenting issue, completing any relevant psychological testing and establishing problematic areas.
  • Diagnosis and Goal Setting – (1 - 2 sessions) Deciding on the disorder/problem to be addressed and setting goals and methodology to be employed.
  • Treatment – implementing the methodology with continual re-assessment to establish progress.
  • Termination – (2 - 4 sessions) When all the goals have been met treatment is concluded with, perhaps, a sporadic maintenance session.

Please look around my web site and see if what I have to offer is what you need. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thank you for visiting my site!
